Renewable Energy Budget for a Madison Cooling Center

This project entails research on the budgetary needs and opportunities of a hypothetical cooling center to function in one of Madison's schools that could be supported by a solar panel installation on the building's roof.

For anyone looking to advance on our efforts, we would push for focus towards the template we created (attached below). This template is pretty simple and could be adjusted to incorporate more complex cooling centers with additional elements and longer operating periods. This initial template is to be used as an estimate for cooling centers around South Wisconsin. In addition, the solar estimate is very much an estimate. This would not be an accurate quote and with the partnership of a local solar installation company, a more accurate number could be estimated to focus on the cost-benefit relationship.
